There's a huge number of yoga teachers out there! 

It can take a while to find one that you align with and one that keeps you wanting more! 

I know, I'd been to many yoga classes before I found my fabulous teacher, Pat! 

 

Feeling a connection with your teacher is absolutely vital.

 

So, why connect with me?

 

I'm no gym bunny, I'm a bit of a hippy, I'm always me, and this I can promise you.

 

 My focus is simple: 

supporting women from peri-menopause and beyond with mindful movement; empowering every women no matter where they are in life's journey, no matter the fitness level; and nurturing a supportive community.

Who am I?

I am in my 50s and have been many things!

An award winning business women; a published writer; a primary school teacher; an auxiliary nurse; a yoga teacher! 

I'm a mother, a mimi (a nanna!); a wife, a sister, a friend!!

I love Norfolk and Normandy; beach walks, mixing aromatherapy blends as The Twitchy Witch

What yoga qualifications do I have? 

 I trained as a level 3 yoga teacher (OFQUAL registered) with the YMCA, this is equivalent to 200HR of yoga teacher training.

I have undertaken certified Menoyoga training (with Sally Parkes) yoga specifically aimed at supporting women from peri-menopause onwards) along with pelvic health CPD; I love lymphatic work and am fascinated by fascia! 

My remit is simple...supporting women in their transitional stages of life with fun but mindful movement.

What do my classes 'look' like? 

I plan sessions in blocks of 3, around a theme; a 3 week block ensures the foundations and the alignments of postures are embedded in week 1; in weeks 2 and 3, you progress more deeply into postures - progression by repetition and practice!

 I incorporate breath-work into all sessions, share learning that supports your understanding of yoga, add an earthy spiritual element, and last but not least, I make sessions fun!

DISCLOSURE: 
I don't include headstands or those crazy full-on arm balances into sessions, I keep falling over! But I'm happy for you to share your skills with me!
